“NINO Overview” describes the fundamentals of what a birth should look like

The actual labour should be attended by a DOULA, and a MIDWIFE, and the partner.
SKIN-TO-SKIN CONTACT should start at birth and continue UNDISTURBED
The GOLDEN HOUR ( we also call the “first 1000 seconds”) requires NO SEPARATION and protection.
During the undisturbed hour, the BABY WILL BREASTFEED (Mothers do not breastfeed, only babies!)
The first 1000 MINUTES is when the mother and baby brains are synchronised, as long as THEY ARE TOGETHER.
The result of this is an EMPOWERING CHANGE in mother’s brain, what we call  FEROCITY.
From this ideal beginning, good mother infant bonding and a future secure attachment lead to life long health.

This site describes what birth looks like according to NEUROSCIENCE.
That is an ambitious claim. but supported by facts and evidence on this and our other websites.
Based on this, the purpose of NINO is to make this known, accepted and practised, globally.
For this we have a NINO FOUNDATION – a wonderful team of advisors, which will grow.
We also have the NINO Academy, a registered company. The products for sale are from the NINO Academy, but the primary purpose of the NINO Academy is to provide information and education, training and implementation support.
In future we plan a NINO INSTITUTE that will support further research, and a NINO CLINIC to be a cutting edge Centre of Excellence.
